Functions:
This 100% brand new and high-quality OBD II Diagnostic Scanner offers comprehensive functionality, including reading and erasing engine fault codes, viewing freeze frame data, retrieving I/M readiness status, and displaying vehicle information. It allows you to monitor your vehicle’s real-time status without visiting a repair shop. Universally compatible, it quickly diagnoses and explains trouble codes on all OBD2 compliant vehicles sold worldwide since 1996, offering the same capabilities as expensive scanners.
The scanner shows codes and their meanings directly, retrieves generic and manufacturer-specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), identifies pending codes, and determines the cause of the Check Engine Light. It includes a CD with definitions lookup software and displays DTC definitions on-screen. The plug-and-play device, powered by the vehicle’s OBD2 interface, supports automatic detection and interpretation of nine OBD2 protocols, accommodating most gasoline vehicles.
Compatible with various car models, including American cars from 1996 onward (e.g., Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jeep), European cars from 2003 onward (e.g., Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW), French cars from 2006 onward (e.g., Citroen, Renault, Peugeot), Asian cars from 2007 onward (e.g., KIA, Honda, Toyota), and Chinese cars from 2009 onward (e.g., BYD, Chery, Geely). However, it does not support electric cars, hybrid cars, 24V trucks, and certain brands like Nissan Leaf, Russian cars (VAZ, UAZ, LADA), and specific models from Ssangyong, Opel, Citroen, Chevrolet, and Renault.
Specifications include a 128×64 pixel display, voltage range of 8-18V, and language support for English, German, Dutch, Italian, French, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Finnish, and Chinese. Operating temperature ranges from 0℃ to 60℃, with an environment temperature range of -20℃ to 70℃. The package includes one car OBD2 diagnostic tool and an English manual.
